In March 2021, we moved into the space formerly home to the Herring Cove Lumbermart. Our main business, Hook, Line & Tinker needed a larger production studio, but not this big LOL. With a bit of extra room and big dreams, we opened Green Eyed Monstera in July and and filled it with artisan goods and plants.
The New Year will likely bring expanded hours and (fingers and toes crossed 🤞) craft workshops. Thank you for your support as we grow and learn how to juggle two businesses in the middle of a pandemic. We love our community 🥰
This shop fights homelessness!
We really care ❤️. Hook, Line & Tinker (and now Green Eyed Monstera) has partnered with Adsum for Women and Children as donors and volunteers since 2017. Over time, we've also supported Metro Turning Point, Feed Nova Scotia, and Blooming House in Charlottetown. Community giving is an essential part of our business model. We donate a minimum of 5% of profits to combat housing and food insecurity.
This is us...
DYK? Hook, Line & Tinker supplies more than 300 retail shops in Canada, the US, Europe, Australia, and the Caribbean? When we're not helping customers, you'll find us behind the counter working away building embroidery kits, or, (like in this pic) feeding hungry folks at Metro Turning Point.
It's pretty amazing to be able to work surrounded by plants, crystals, and handmade goodness. And of course, we're happy to meet and connect with the friendly people in our community.
